Vortex ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Vortex does not require you to create an account with your name, email, or phone number. When you first open the app, we create an anonymous user profile identified only by a randomly assigned number (e.g. #4721). No personal identifying information is ever collected or required.
We do not collect: name, email, phone number, location, contacts, camera, microphone (voice feature requires 30-day streak and is not yet available), or any advertising identifiers.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described below.
Messages in the Vortex feed expire after 48 hours. Your anonymous profile and game stats are retained as long as your account exists. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Vortex is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
You may request deletion of all data associated with your anonymous ID by emailing us. Since accounts are anonymous, we cannot verify identity — we will delete the record matching the ID you provide from the app.
Users can report messages they find inappropriate. Reports are reviewed by our team. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our guidelines.
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
